I reckon their reactions to scoring were more exuberance than petulance.
The relief at scoring, keeping a clean sheet thus winning were writ large on players faces at the end.

I wouldn't read anything into it. It's just footballers being silly. Lots of them do it, possibly thinking they're winding up the opposition

I can remember seeing a photo of Tomas Soucek at pre-season training with nothing on his feet. This was a clear indication to me that he had died some while ago and replaced by a body double.

I once reffed a match with a kid cupping his ear to opposition parents (who had not said a word throughout to warrant it). I actually did have a word with him at half time because he was clearly an arrogant little prick.
And I don't think Bowen or Scamacca were acting up at all.

I don't think it necessarily means they've got the hump, but it's definitely cunty behaviour from both players, especially Bowen - he has played like a goose the last six games and then gives it the big I AM when he finally scores. Nah, you wouldn't see behaviour like that from proper players who know how to behave like Dawson or Ogbonna.

Takeshi Mike, my son's 11 and scored in his game today, (nice goal too, 20 yards out)
he copied scamaccas celebration and ran past all the parents cupping his ear.
I was reffing and tried my hardest not to laugh

They hadn't scored in while in the league or ever, and got told that a lot I would guess.
Goals and wins change a lot more than the table. I wouldn't read much into it.
